For people who are feeling vulnerable or having suicidal thoughts, it's important to feel a strong sense of connection.
Connection can come in many forms: we can connect with friends and family, have connections through activities, or with nature and the arts.
Being distracted from suicidal thoughts and engaging in activities to take time away from the difficulties can help to lift the mood for those with suicidal thoughts at whatever level or intensity.
Increasing awareness of mental health increases the chances of people spotting that they or someone they care for is mentally unwell so that they can get the treatment and help that they need.
Increasing awareness can also reduce stigma and negative connotations attached to depression and mental health, so that people feel less scared to talk about how they are feeling.
Providing support to help yourself and others through grief.
We believe grieving is important because it allows us to 'free-up' energy that is bound to the lost person, so that we can re-invest that energy elsewhere
We support our community to greave healthily which results in an ability to remember the importance of the loss—but with a newfound sense of peace, rather than pain.
If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health and wellbeing, please see our support page or get in touch.
